There's nothing inherently wrong or autistic with studying the stuff you buy before you buy it. People do that with all sorts of collections and hobbies. And devil's advocate, he was planning for the "most important" event of his life. The issue here I think is that it's a murder doc, but I guess you have a better handle on his writing style. I'm not particularly studying abnormal psych, so I don't really have a good reason to read or watch that stuff.

There is a funny part of the new Scream movie where one of the killers has a gun pointed at her by people she is trying to kill. She begs them not to kill her because "It's not my fault. I was radicalized online." Played for laughs.

I think the racism was secondary to the desire to kill people and be noticed. He spent more time comparing gear he could buy than making the case for why he needed to do what he did. I am not trying to downplay the racism. I just think it is another case of a loser guy being unhappy with himself so he kills innocent people.

One thing that I found interesting about this shooter and the El Paso one is that they both acknowledged that non-white people were people but they needed "to stay in their parts of the world." 'White people need their own space' That's the sort of defeatist attitude that would result in somebody deciding to give up on their lives at 18. White supremist went from wanting to colonize the entire world to simply demanding their own countries stop being "invaded." Only a lazy Gen Z white supremacist would just want a safe space.

I read some stuff about the links between Islamic extremists and modern alt-right or whatever extremism in the west. Terrorism experts call it salad bar extremism. Westerners pick and choose stuff from other opposite ideologies and mix it with their thing. The terrorism expert believes that the link between the two groups is an obsession with extreme violence.

I am aware that the whole "securing a land for white people" is old stuff. There is still a ton of defeatism in this and similar manifestos that I think says a lot about the authors. They acknowledge Asians have higher IQs than whites and built societies that are as organized as our own. There isn't any delusion any colonizing China and repopulating with white people like Hitler felt towards the slavs. There isn't any of Mussolini's idea of a modern colonial empire.

There's more too it but I don't have the time to pick apart the manifesto of 18 year autistic person.

Jay's quirks aside, still an armchair diagnosis even if you were a psychiatrist. Similar vein to various courts of public opinion already decided on OJ Simpson before day 1 of the trial.

The tone in which you say "I bet this guy has autism" is unhelpful at best, otherwise seems spiteful, prejudicial, maybe outright ablelist. Plenty of people with some degree of autism who are more or less functional members of society, and/or mostly harmless.

This kid would have done well to smoke pot in the school restroom every now and then.

On the other hand, when there's been a mass shooting I usually expect to hear the perp's a white guy, which is usually validated. If I bring it up, it's usually in direct or necro counterpoint to garbage discussions about "why are black/____ people so violent/uncivilized."

What I don't do is come onto a forum posting pictures of the white shooter and his murderstream, and then spew a bunch of smug bile about the typical white people personality or whatever.

Are you offended that I properly diagnosed the guy as autistic? It is not my fault I was able to look at a grainy picture of him and immediately understand the full content of his character: autistic.

Maybe the autistic community needs to do some soul searching and explain why almost all mass shooters are on the spectrum. Facts can't be ablest.

Oftentimes I get high and think about the things that mad me angry at work. While really high I say "you know what. I will go back to work Monday and try to turn over a new leaf. I will be nice to the kid that I find annoying and just pass them to the next class without any trouble. I should try to be a nicer person because it really isn't that serious."

Then I go back into work Monday and try to be nice to the kid. I treat them nicely and with kindness and they treat me like shit and look at me like I am stupid and we are back to square one.
