There is a funny part of the new Scream movie where one of the killers has a gun pointed at her by people she is trying to kill. She begs them not to kill her because "It's not my fault. I was radicalized online." Played for laughs.unnamednewbie13 wrote:
What a load of crap. Aware of your own radicalization, in writing, but still go and do the thing. Against porn but you want to go to a grocery store and penetrate people with your phallus cannon.
There's nothing inherently wrong or autistic with studying the stuff you buy before you buy it. People do that with all sorts of collections and hobbies. And devil's advocate, he was planning for the "most important" event of his life. The issue here I think is that it's a murder doc, but I guess you have a better handle on his writing style. I'm not particularly studying abnormal psych, so I don't really have a good reason to read or watch that stuff.
I think the racism was secondary to the desire to kill people and be noticed. He spent more time comparing gear he could buy than making the case for why he needed to do what he did. I am not trying to downplay the racism. I just think it is another case of a loser guy being unhappy with himself so he kills innocent people.
