So they said on CNN they are bringing in the cop killer's commanding officer from when he was in the military to assist them in capturing him. Since the officer is the only man he trusts and respects, he may be able to convince him to surrender.
Conspiracy crowd already thinks this guy was set up. I'm not sure catching him is worth shooting half the city dead, though. Inb4 tactical nuke.
This incident is going to bring about no substantial change within policing. The spotlight will be on the LAPD and some politicians might do their usual song and dance for a short period but after that its going to be swept up with the rest of the countries dirt under the carpet.

The man entered the lobby of at the New Castle County Courthouse around 8 a.m. and began shooting, said State Police Sgt. Paul Shavack.
He acted alone, Shavack said, and the shooting was not an act of terrorism.
The two who are dead are women, but Shavack declined to give details about them.
News reports said the gunman's estranged wife was among the victims, but Shavack said he could not confirm that a family member was involved. He described the shooter as white and between the ages of 50 and 60.

Christ.Two students died and one student suffered non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday morning in what police described as a murder-suicide at a house on the 8700 block of 36th Avenue, about a block from the northern edge of the campus, Prince George's County Police said.
The shooter reportedly lit a small fire in his basement, which prompted two of his roommates to go downstairs and see what was happening. The three students went to the front of the home, where the shooter shot one roommate and then the other when he tried to flee. He then went to the back of the home and shot himself, police said.

He's firing at law enforcement and supposedly deployed a smoke bomb so I think its the right guy. He's injured two so far. I think they'll try to gas him. They want him alive.
