Actually, not necessarily. Races each have their ups and downs and their own playstyle. The hardest races to play are the Eldar and Dark Eldar, though, as you have to have very careful with them and can't afford to get careless as they are expensive and fragile(especially Dark Eldar).unnamednewbie13 wrote:

Do you even play with the models? Who care what they cost or how easily they break.
Even if you mean 'expensive' points-wise, you are outright wrong. The Necrons are the most expensive point-wise 'shooting based' race.

I have played before, also necrons are expensive but they are tough in comparison to eldar which are more fragile. Plus most if not all Necron units are anti tank capable so there isn't a need for an anti tank specialist unit or weaponry in case of vehicles. I'd argue that the Tyranids take more ability to play. They are not necessarily dependent on high-point values, but it is very easy to get the structure of the army wrong and leave yourself without a balance between long range and close quarters combat. They also take massive amounts of skill to form any even half decent strategy, not because they are good enough to allow diverse strategy, but because they are so shitty that you have to get creative.

I have very little experience with fighting tyranids, only game I had with them was when I had no clue how to play necrons at the time. Probably right, especially with the 6th edition which hurt them real bad. Doesn't mean Eldar and Dark Eldar aren't tricky, Dark Eldar even more tricky than Eldar.Pochsy wrote:
