Dead Island was a lie. The emotion put into the trailer doesn't match the corny gameplay at all.

If you want to play it in coop but still want to near-100% or perfect it, either roll through in single player or be sure you do the quests and their areas in order. I've glitched out of being able to complete about five quests because they were completed by allies while I wasn't in the area or because I joined from a different point in the game.

Otherwise, just cut loose, kill zombies and uninstall the thing when you've beaten it.

Kind of pissed off, apparently I can't buy things on Steam while I'm at work, possibly 'cause while my account is a New Zealand account the computers at work are set up to be Australian on an Australian network so Steam is confused... wonder if I can make some changes. I want to buy Beyond Good and Evil.

... Nope. Changed my Steam location to Wollongong in NSW and no change. Poo. Must be something to do with my credit card.

Fuck Splinter Cell. Fuck Ubisoft. A while back I thought I'd give them another chance with Splinter Cell: Double Agent, and I got a well-known crashing bug that there was no way around. Had an exchange of several million e-mails with their shitty support, and they had me do several million idiotic things until they found something totally unrelated that was aesthetically different from what they were expecting, and the fuckers said the problem was on my end.
