people stanning the hypothetical good guys with guns and talking about how they'd take a shooter out or volunteer to be on a firing squad: this stuff is exercises in the same sort of vein as ideating a shooting spree to begin with. cooked-in-the-head behavior.
an actual good guy with a gun wouldn't fantasize about using it in self-defense, let alone expressing that openly and repeatedly. nor would they platform guys like rittenhouse. creepy, ghoulish, boastful, and not fun to be around.
