You remember those guys who used to throw C4 like frisbees? Now they are more like waiters trying to take your order... No longer are they the fucking dragons that blast spitballs of exploding C4, but now resemble little pussy foxes trying to sneak up on you. Unless somebody knows of a way, your C4 will have less hangtime than Shaq right after Thanksgiving dinner. It's too bad actually, because I used to love throwing C4 over walls and fences.

i know, kinda sucks. And if your after realism (which seems to be a big part of this game), in RL you could throw C4 so so much further than in 1.12!

get some brains moran, c4 is not supposed to be thrown
just because you cant unrealistically chuck it at people and then blow you and everyone else up does not mean that spec ops sucks
the whole purpose of a spec ops is to be sneaky, thats not them being pussies thats them using the kit for what its meant for, if you want to play spec ops in pre 1.2 mode then put in a request to EA for a suicide bomber class, otherwise get used to it

i agree throwing c4 over fence was fun then you wait a couple sec and boom lol
those c4 thwroer never bothered me i use to headhshot them most of the time before they can even pull the trigger...
But the people with no aiming skills complained so they changed it

I never threw c4 at people anyway. Just slapped some on the edge of a tank and buggered off.

C4 is a pastic explosive, used to destory something large, or gain entry to something, theses charges HAVE TO be placed on what you plan on exploding, then you have to set them, get outta the way an blow it. You cant chuck c4 in RL. And if you were trained how to use it, you wouldnt dare consider throwing it.. stupid fucking noobs, learn to play. the new patch sucks in my oppinion. u can no longer throw medic packs to near by team mates, and u have to walk right up to the tank or apc to stick on the c4.

Well I got my SpecOps Vet badge last night and I'm not that good a player, but then I never used to throw C4 about anyway.

thats the only way to get thru their thick skulls. i think ill contact EA about having them change c4 in the next patch, so that you have to set it up like the c4 on CS. it'll take 5 secs just for you noobs to set 1 c4 on a tank. i think EA wouldnt mind making that change in the next patch.... lets see. ill send them en email now, and see what they say by the end of the day.DUFFKING wrote:

here i'll summarize for you: spec ops not for c4 infantry kills, for sneaky sneakies and blowing up armored things covertely, has good gun too

Sorry they dont suck ass. Spec ops is what it means SPECIAL OPERATIONS not C4 CHUCKER and not use a gun. You c4 chuckers only wanted a demolition man. Play the kit as it was meant to be played with a gun and c4 not just throwing c4 into a crowd of troops.
Its times like this that I am extatic i got my expert C4 before the patch. I do miss throwing it sometimes but if you place it well enough. You can still get the boom and 3-4 kills a time.
c4 didn't represent an unbalance and people that got killed by thrown c4 and whined are babies. seriously, these are the people that whined that people would dolphin dive up to you throw c4 and then run off. first of all why didn't you shoot the guy you newbie? second of all why the hell didn't you get away from the c4 pack after it was thrown.
there was a glitch in c4 that allowed it to be blown before the detonator was out, that's all that needed to be fixed.
the game is full of "unrealism" so shut up you little panzies. thrown c4 (glitch aside) added balance to the game. By the way didn't they design c4 to be more stable and versatile than other explosives? why the fuck couldn't you throw it? you idiots whining about that didn't take unbalancing the game or weakening a class significantly into account at all. you just said "ohhh welll i dont like dying so much and my style of play sucks but rather than learn ill just make the game change so everyone has to play my way." morons.
