MEPS went alright. Passed everything but eyesight. So I get a waiver and go back in 35 days then swear in.
Recruiter and other friends who've been through MEPS say they don't do a medical background check but the people at MEPS say they use your SS to do a background check. I could be majorly fucked. At least I didn't lie about my heart murmur, they listened to it, I told them I played sports all my life and perform as one of the best at PT and he stamped "Pass" on my condition
edit: During the "honesty" briefing we were filling out the forms about existing medical conditions and some idiot didn't put down "Seizures" and had a freaking epileptic seizure a few moments later. MEPS docs weren't happy...DQ'd his ass.
