Why don't you pull a John Galt, remove yourself, your skills and your taxes from the system, move somewhere nice until it turns around. Australia is pretty good, I think you'd like it.Frank Reynolds wrote:
i am willing to bet a large majority of obama voters dont even make enough money to pay for all of the govt programs they cherish. mostly college kids, minorities, etc. the sad part is i make enough and have to pay for obamaphones, obamacare, etc. and do not benefit from any of it. and that is fine because unlike a lot of people id rather earn my way. so, to the obama supporters if he wins, you are welcome. if he does not win, get a job.

I think conservatives are just upset that human wave bayonet charges and horse cavalry aren't going to be a big thing in the near future.

No, its because 'the greatest nation on earth' keeps starting wars and killing people, and continues profligately wasting resources and destroying the planet to maintain your epic laziness and obesity levels.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

"No, God did no forsake us. The majority of our citizens forsook Him."
ie. because they didn't get the result they wanted it's somehow against God.
Of course, if it was a rape and conception happened...
Relieved Obama won tbh.
Though I'm stunned that it ended up being such a close race (50 vs 49% of the popular vote) considering how terrible a candidate Romney was. On the political side of things he flip flopped like no other candidate in history, making multiple 180 degree turns - not even Kerry (who was ousted for the same reason, flip flopping, in 2004) was this bad. He made various extremely terrible gaffes, was totally inarticulate compared to his opponent and spoke on foreign policy in a way that was eerily reminiscent of the 2000-2008 way of doing things, on which there is supposedly a consensus that such a stance was a disaster. As was his 'charm offensive' abroad - I'll just quote the british newspapers here in saying that it was 'lacking charm and mildly offensive'. On a personal level it was evident that he blatantly evaded taxation, something I would imagine most people see as a damning part of one's history if you're wanting to run for president. It's the kind of thing you'd expect of people like Berlusconi.
To not even touch on some ridiculous lines repeated by the GOP during the election campaign. Obama went around the world 'apologizing for America'? You what now? Where did they even come up with this shit. Several such ridiculous claims have been made on his presidency and I just can't believe people actually bought into that.
So why is it that almost half the voting population, voted for Romney? Obama's economic record? It isn't half as bad as it's been made out to be. 'Obamacare'? I really don't know.
