Ive gotten 2 or 3 80s in my ~30 courses so far here.  90 is so far from possible i dont understand how people do it (other than the ones in the library 24/7)
To get a 4.0 here (my undergrad school had the +- system) it required a 93 or better. You have to seriously know your shit to get a 93 in a class.
That must suck 'cause in the end it would still count for nothing from a maritime college, right?

didnt we just confirm that our marking systems were very different...?  even in maths and stuff like that, they add a question that 0-5 people out of the 6-700 person class could answer worth 10% of the tests.  ive gotten it right maybe once out of a few dozen times
My engineering professors always did that shit

My school actually has a very good reputation. Besides, no one gives a shit about your GPA or your tie pin after you land your first job.

Jay I notice you have a H. L. Mencken quote on your Facebook profile. Do you really find the time to read lots of literary criticism and essays in between all of that hardcore Political Science you're absorbing? Astonishing. No wonder you got a 4.0GPA!!!

Aww, did I hurt your feelings in some way? So sensitive all the time Meek. That really is the perfect surname for you.

Well then I am very fortunate it is not my real surname. Are you very fortunate because you don't actually read any Mencken?

Bravo. I don't think you would have agreed with Mencken's politics. Which sort of contradicts your "About Me" in which you define yourself as the result of a web-based personality-politics test (nice touch).

What's the point of your existence here Uzique? Did I say a word to you? No, you decided to PM me unsolicited. You're launching personal attacks unsolicited. You know I don't like you, yet you insist on trying to contact me. Why is that? Why do you seek my approval so badly? It's bad enough when Macbeth cries because I don't give him the attention he wants. I really don't need two of you around. So kindly fuck off back into whatever miserable existence you crawled out of. Thanks.

Oh and I didn't PM you 'unsolicited', you were actually insulting someone (Pochsy, I believe) in a very arrogant and big-headed manner in D&ST about the basic history of Marxism and Socialism. You were so egregiously wrong and incorrect in your statements, and made them with such a sort of all-knowing mockery that I couldn't even resist PM'ing you to politely inform you that you, despite your fancy Hayek quote, misunderstand the absolute basics of political science and its history. That wasn't 'unsolicited' abuse. I was doing you a favour. Though you still insisted on carrying on fighting against being blatantly wrong, right until the thread got closed. At which point, of course, you declared that the "thread was done", anyway.

I find you a fascinating human being. Anti-intellectual when cornered or challenged, but gladly the sage when no one is around to keep you in check.

Do you know how sad it is that you seek 'friends' in an online environment? How many times have you begged me to go on TS with you? Jesus christ man, get out of your fucking house and meet real people. They don't bite. I'm not on this forum because I want to make friends. It's a time waster where I can argue with anonymous people about inconsequential shit. You act like you're changing the world one post at a time in DST when it matters approximately zero. Every time you post about friendships here it makes me cringe, because I know just how much every one of those 'friendships' mean to you. Go outside.
