Yeah, I get it. My wife and I would have waited longer, but with her being from NZ and me from Canada, it was easier to do it early. It got to the point of either get married so we could stay together or go our separate ways. We got married and no regrets. If it hadda gone bad, it would have, not much to do about it. It was well worth it to find out though.

There's really no "one size fits all" when it comes to people and their relationships. I've known people who have banged everything in sight and others who were childhood sweethearts. Both scenarios are happy, it just depends on that person's preference.

In saying that though, I couldn't imagine being with one person only for my life, that would S-U-C-K. You'd be perpetually wondering if the grass really is greener on the other side. I've been with a few girls and now I've found one I will probably marry one day. We have so much in common yet quite a lot of differences to make us both very compatible and very interesting to each other at the same time. But I'm also at that age when I know I'm ready; had I met her five years ago I would've said no way.
