went for first proper motorbike ride with mate today
ran out of petrol on some country road
had to wait 20 mins for mate to come back with petrol
went through more country roads and when braking with rear brake the bike started to skid to one side
dont think i have long left on planet earth with functioning limbs.

Driving back to base on my motorcycle, hydroplaning the rear wheel at any throttle over 60mph, and the front threatening to hydroplane with the slightest turning input.
Rear wheel would barely stay in contact with the freeway at 60mph.
Slightest throttle above that, the rear wheel would hydroplane, and try to spit to the left or right.
Hypothermic cold, took a couple minutes to get off the bike when I got to the parking lot.
Took 30-45 minutes to get my soaked clothes off, as my fingers did not want to work properly.
Took another 3-4 hours to get warm, laying in bed, under all the covers I had.
(No hot shower to warm up - I was cold to the point that a hot shower might put me in shock)
I have been colder, and wetter - but that really sucked.
Bikes can definitely make life... interesting at times.
Went to bed 11pm, woke 12:30am.
Finally got back to sleep 4:50am, woke up for work 6:20am...
Had a coffee and am starting to feel somewhat with it.
