We talk every single day on the phone. Maybe we missed one day once when we were both really busy.
I get to see her once a month for about 4-5 days at a time. Saw her Tues - Sun last week. Next time is April 5-11, then she's here for a week and a half April/May for her sister's wedding.
It's all cool, we just miss each other a lot.

Well, sounds like you have it better than me. I Skype my GF once every two or so days, see her once or twice a month in 2 day runs, and never get to see her for more than 3 days at a time.
I guess we're just both the kind of people that appreciate the space, although seeing her more would be nice. We're going to be stuck in our current situation for at least another 3 years.

If we were in the same city we would probably be living together already. I intend to see how this year pans out with music etc. and make a decision whether to move to Sydney towards the end of the year/start of next year. Three years is a long time man. It works for us fairly well. We appreciate the time we have together more, and in a way it keeps the relationship fresh with sexual tension and a genuine desire to please the other person. I'm not saying you lose these qualities when your together more often, but you don't experience them to the same degree.
