I'd go for a student plan Pochsy, thats what I had before my dad put me under his company's bill.  And with campus wide wifi you wont need more than 500MB, I dont think I ever broke that with my BB.

Now I have an Android under a corporate plan so I use a lot more data (streaming music and tethering laptop all the time) but I have unlimited everything so its no big deal.  I think he pays around 60/mo for my phone, but its under one big bill so I have no idea exactly
Pretty much the only time I won't have access to wireless is while I'm at work over the summer, and even then, I'm at work where being glued to your cellphone is frowned upon. That and I have a laptop in front of me 7 hours of the day...

Right now my plan is to prod Bell for upgrades given my customer loyalty (not counting on much). Failing this I will look into student plans as a backup. And failing that I'm jumping ship to Rogers.

$120 on a family plan with 2 phones. I still pay for my ex's phone. Actually I still pay for her cable as well....It's all good though, we are still friends.

about €75. €50 a month for unlimited calling and texts to some lines, free minutes and texts for other lines (which I never seem to use), 5GB data (above it throttles to 2G), hotspot, yadda yadda. Calling foreign numbers usually adds another €25.

And there's a second number / SIM for €20 which I gave to my parents with unlimited calling.
You don't have Skype on your phone...?

I pay €29 for 1GB of Internet, 1000 SMS, 1000 minutes and another 1000 minutes internal to my network when my first 1000 run out. Never hit the 1GB mark or the 1000 SMS mark and only every now and again go one or two minutes (I'm serious) over the 1000 minute mark.
you guys should check out an app called Line. It's like whatsapp but 1000000000X better as you can directly call through internet data.

I pay 80.92 a month with unlimited calls and texts anywhere in Aussie and 2GB internet + Iphone 4 32GB on a 2 year contract.

I kinda regret using that plan since I use fuckall internet with home wifi and uni internet...

From my understanding, Line doesn't give me anything I don't already have. The people I wish to communicate with or call must also have an iPhone/Android device in order to use it. Unfortunately (for me) this is useless - only time I ever make calls long-distance are on Skype and that's to my parents back in the US, neither of whom have a smart phone (OK, my mom has one...).

Neat idea, though, thanks for the tip! If my folks both get smart phones soon, then I'll definitely get them to start using it!

Usually pay about $90 a month after extra charges that include business banking phone calls and DHL calls, which aren't part of my 600 minutes + unl texts + unl data. Bit of a joke really, as my actual plan cost is under $50.
