Didn't you also stop reading Discworld novels after you turned 14 because you had better things to be doing? If a book has a decent hook and good pacing, I don't let its target audience stop me from reading it. All I lose are a couple evenings I could've been bullshitting around in a Battlefield game or something.

no i stopped reading discworld because pratchett developed alzheimers and continued to publish his literal fucking dribbling because the publishers were honoring their life-long obligation to a client that they probably hoped would cash them in another farewell book or two and then dissolve

no, i thought the books following the first were similar to the first one in quality. i just thought the last one sucked because the ending was saddening. anyway, to each their own.

He wrote Making Money while suffering from the disease, and that was a pretty good book.
