Yikes, this hotel in Brittany wants 280 euros per night

Well, it's our honeymoon and first trip to Europe together so I'd almost rather do the touristy stuff.

We'll be there in mid-June. Plan is to do a few days in Paris, 3 days in Brittany, and then 3-4 days in Nice.FatherTed wrote:

dude an hour commute either way is nothing. almost all of the decent paying graduate jobs in london will involve an hour commute each way. get real.

I know, honestly I won't mind driving for an hour if the traffic isn't too bad. It's far from my house hence the time... if it was an hour due to bumper-to-bumper traffic I'd be pissed.
With a $10,000 budget, it better be the trip of a friggin lifetime Business class to Paris alone is $2500FatherTed wrote:

$10k doesn't go far very far in the nice parts of europe. it's expensive. you don't help yourself by insisting on nice air travel. why spend a quarter of your budget on the journey? that's dumb. you could do and see a lot more of europe with that money. instead you're bothered about a 6-7 hour flight having in-seat television. you sucker!

So why is an Irishman vacationing in Brittany? I thought the weather was very similar.
