You know, i could easily get a job at apple with training and then get a managing function in sales or maybe work as tech support or even a desk/office job at which i will most likely be allowed to use my iphone to listen to music as well.
yet i refuse to do so.

i think it's nice to be able to put in your earphones and chill the fuck out for a bit. some days at work the thing i have most is having to deal with people all the fucking time. it's nice to just tune out for 2 hours and get on with a task without anyone/anything bothering you. plus you can listen to shit you enjoy, even podcasts/audiobooks (i do all the time). no drawbacks here tbh.

problem is i need to look approachable to customers and i don't get to chill out and listen to music since i'm constantly walking (running) around having to talk to people.
And need to be able to hear stuff.
and how are you gonna easily get a managing function job? you have a degree in management? an mba? lol most of my superiors in managing/supervising positions have PhD's. even my basic office-pony job position had an interview shortlist of about 45 people, only taking on 3. you make it sound as if it's a grapevine . good luck.

I was more or less offered a job by someone who is going to work there (already works at apple)
