Whenever I go to facebook I make sure to like at least something from everyone. Especially if it seems important to them. I also wish everyone happy birthday. Every single person. But when I put up a picture of me and my new bicycle all I got was 5 likes instead of more despite me being liberal and magnanimous with my likes.

My birthday is the 29th. I better receive a decent amount of happy birthdays from the people I gave happy birthdays to or else.

Fwp: people are not reciprocating facebook likes.

It is nothing special. I got it from a friend who won it in a raffle and literally never rode once. I just use it to ride around the park and along the long bike lane thing they built.

bosses boss came in and asked me for help which involved updating java. not used to her keyboard and went to "jav.com" which takes you to a not so work-friendly site. she was standing behind me and saw the mistake I made and had a good laugh for a while. I got a little red in the face but she's super easy-going so didn't care one bit. whoops.

I did that once. I was at home on a webex or blue jeans meeting sharing my screen and I went to the browser to bring up dropbox. I started typing in the address and a link autopopulated for some sort of porn. I think the url had something like "girl gets down on her knees" or some lewd description. I closed my browser and muted my mic and laughed for a good minute.

Was thinking how cool it would be if we had bullet trains in the U.S. It is Friday and it would be dope to go on a mini-vacation to D.C. or Boston for the weekend.

A bullet train would be stress free compared to driving. Just take the bullet train to the station and an uber to the hotel.

First World problem: no one wants to invest in trains.

The tickets for that are pretty expensive. $300ish for two people round trip from D.C. to Newark, 400ish for a round trip flight for two. Might as well just take a plane. From what I am told, the trains are a lot cheaper in Europe for similar distance trips. In this case 190ish miles

Maryland's Governor is working on maybe getting such a bullet train funded between DC and Baltimore but the Federal Government and other states would also have to fund their own portions going North and South

The Maglev, travelling at 375 MPH like what Japan has, and the Japanese Government would even fund $5 billion for the system through MD if everybody else can pay their part of the bill:
