I'm not looking forward to more of my friends having children. I already don't like the few facebook photos of their kids I get. I don't want more.
Why do you need the 64GB iPhone?13/f/taiwan wrote:

gotta go big or go home. this is america!
who needs 64GB on their phone?
the cost of the phone is not my main concern. i don't feel the need to pay an extra $300 a year when i can text/talk with the phone i already have.
imagine how dilbert feels. he's near 40 and all of his friends have a wife and 2.4 children.Macbeth wrote:

Only thing I ever get from McD's are the breakfast burritos every once in a while. Their burgers make me gag.13/f/taiwan wrote:
in new york they mandate fast food restaurants to list the amount of calories each food/drink/meal contains to deter people from over-eating. it has been effective for me. all i get from mcdonalds now is ice cream. +1 bloomberg.

I wonder what the sugar:orange ratio is in McD's orange juice.Macbeth wrote:
I like McDonald's orange juice. It is healthy enough if you pick the right things and don't consume much. Don't get a diet Coke. Get an orange juice. Don't have 2 Big Macs have one. In fact don't even get a Big mac. Get a snack wrap.

boom
Sucks that orange juice is so damn expensive. I would be drinking it all day every day if I could afford it. Also blueberry juice.
LOL 29g. Might as well drink some soda.
e: I've seen brands with like 50g sugar per serving, so it's not the worst.

Soda doesn't have vitamins. They are just colored water and sugar. At least orange juice is healthy for you. I don't get why you are so hung up on sugar anyway.
There are a number of better alternatives to getting the same vitamins, but I don't begrudge people glasses of orange juice since it's more convenient than peeling a citrus fruit.
I'm "hung up" on sugar because foods and drinks that market themselves as being healthy often aren't for one reason or another...usually because of too much sugar. Just look at Vitamin Water. Orange juice hangs on that traditional best-thing-to-give-your-kid-in-the-morning beat and as refreshing as the stuff is, it just isn't the complete truth.

Preemptive response: the dangerous of sugar and fast food is greatly overblown. You can live a long and healthy life if you moderate your portions and exercise. I'm 145 and eat anything I want. I don't go overboard and am not lazy. I have no health issues or anything to worry about.
So moderate, exercise, not be lazy.

I agree with this. You could cut all convenience out of your diet and have one of the most boring palates of all time, so I don't advocate removing these foods entirely. What I do advocate is moderation and honesty in marketing.Macbeth wrote:
