No but really, I welcome our septic overlords to the NT, not least because I don't live there and we'll be separated by thousands of inhospitable kilometres and many bitey and poisonous animals.

The beer is cheap, the girls are brown and fizzy, I'm sure the marines will have a good time.

I find it strange that it's still the ANZUS treaty despite NZ getting kicked out of it. I suppose it just doesn't work without us though, whether you put the US or Australia first in the acronym you get shorthard for one or the other.
