I'm pretty sure your eligibility is used up by ROTC. Officers don't qualify for the GI Bill.

This may have changed when they enacted the Post 9/11 GI Bill though.

My Dad shot himself in the hand with a nail gun. It double shot, so the gun bounced off the first nail and right into his hand that was holding the shingle. Right through the meat between his thumb and index. Ouch. He got an x-ray, got the nail removed and went back the next day to finish the roof.

Maybe he shot himself in the eye? That would explain it. Maybe it got jammed and he looked a little too close...lol.
