i don't see the point in it... the gameplay is pretty boring and all that fantasy lore and storytelling i haven't got any time for. i read stories every bloody day and the roleplay-fantasy-writing schtick they have in this game makes me cringe. shit is so corny, i feel embarrassed playing it half the time. i can't give it that 'willing suspension of disbelief' that all those fantasy geeks and shifty-tards have when they immerse themselves in the GAME WORLD and BECOME ONE with their AVATAR. i just run around laughing at the crappy writing/lore and wondering what i'm gaining from slaying wolves. it's like even worse than the grind in WoW because at least in MMO's there are other people to kick the crap into. i played skyrim for like 10 minutes and was just couldn't stop thinking about how everything around me was just dumb scripted computer AI. with really shit voice acting. really shit. shit. really.

yeah, i haven't seen any of his videos in months but figured some of my youtube subs would be covering skyrim. started out as really boring intro stuff but so funny watching his own reactions and ad-libbing as he becoming increasingly more immersed/bored (pick one - depending on situ) with the gameplay so he entertains himself. could watch this all day.

i have a love/hate relationship with all those sorta youtube streamer guys. totalbiscuit, especially. can't stand his 'values' as a player (i.e. he's a fucking noob at nearly everything) but sometimes they're fuckin' A. by the way do you guys play this sorta shit with a game controller? a surprising number of people i've spoken to that play it prefer xbox controller to m+kb. weird.

I guess a controller would be acceptable with this and the other games where there's clearly a console influence in the design of the interace. I don't see any real benefits outside of that, unlike if you were playing a driving game and needed the pressure-sensitive button input compared to binary key pressed/not pressed.
