I have a list of the ranks at which each camo item unlocks, but I don't have any good images for them.

Anyone got a source for the camo images? I've seen one youtube video (1080p) that has them all scrolled through, but that's still a pretty crappy source...

I got two bottles of Dr. Pepper the other day (good god I want that Friday Fun Fun Fun dog-tag) and both my codes were invalid. Looked it up, Dr. Pepper site said the codes were 12 digits long, and the codes on my bottle caps were 14 digits long. Wtf?

I switch my camo according to the environment.

What's kinda lame about having these different camos is that they serve as a cop out for the developers who give you the ability "to be" (to look like) a marine, an army ranger, or seaman, etc. rather than actually playing as or being one of those branches. What I mean is that DICE should have created multiple factions, and divisions of factions into army, marines, navy, air-- for each side, and while were at it, why not add more factions. Let us play as Iran, EU, Georgians, whatever, just something more than MW2.

They did say something about a lot of expansion content over the next year. I wouldn't be surprised to see that sort of thing implemented, since factions were added in BF2 expansions.

1942: US, UK, Germans, USSR, CA. Am I missing any?
Vietnam: US Army, US Marines, ARVN, NVA, Vietcong, Am I missing any?
BF2: US Marines, MEC, PLA
2142: EU, PAC
BC: Nato?, RU
BF3: US ambiguous, RU ambiguous

Do you guys see the pattern of laziness here?

Look at the number of detailed faction in Project Reality.

Special Forces added new factions insofar as they created new character skins, and a few new weapons, but most SF factions recycled the MEC loadout and vehicles. PR actually gave each faction unique vehicles and equipment.

Weren't the Italians part of the Road to Rome expansion?

CA is Canada from the map Liberation of Caen. It was added to vanilla as a free patch.

Yes the Italians were from RtR, but that is still BF1942

Don't really think Canada counts though, I never noticed a single difference from the regular US army on that...

They carried a different assault weapon. A side loading automatic rifle. The Johnson gun I think. They also had unique character models and voice overs.

Do you really give a shit though? I mean sure it would be nicer but it just means time spent on something pretty irrelevant instead of on more important things. Everything would be balanced out and basically the same anyway, only difference would be cosmetic. In some genres/games cosmetic stuff is important and I would definitely expect much more variety but in a multiplayer manshoot like this it doesnt seem important.

I think part of the reason camo hasnt stood out as different on people is because it seems to reset back to default all the time. Also they look very similar because they only change the arms/legs not the main torso section.
