Recently I've been getting nausea in shooter games, most notably Dead Island and BF3. I found out that messing with the field of view almost gets rid of the problem for me, personally.
Here's how to change it in BF3.

-Navigate to C:\Users\Username\Documents\Battlefield 3 Open Beta\settings
-Open "PROF_SAVE_body" with a hex editor such as Notepad++.
-On the third line, below AudioQuality, you'll see a number. This is the FOV; default is 70. I changed mine to 90 on a 16:9 (1680x1050) monitor but tweak it to your preference.
The second thing you'll want to do is to get rid of motion blur completely. In options, you can turn off motion blur, but I found out that it does not completely go away until you set its value to 0 as well.
