First off, I want to make sure I can run this headset from the FRONT input panel from my pc.
It has one audio input and one mic input. Can I run it like this on my motherboard audio driver? (AsRock P67 Pro3 - Realtek HD audio)

I will mainly be using this for FPS gaming, so the situational awareness should be better, right?

Budget is about €50.

After breaking many pairs of headphones and nearly as many front 3.5mm jacks, my advice to you is to buy an extension cable and plug it into the back of your rig. Personally I've never got on with the surround sound headsets I've used; and much prefer a decent stereo pair.

If you do want to run it from the front inputs, you shouldn't have any technical problems. The front inputs just plug into your soundcard (or MoBo for onboard sound). You may have to connect it up however, if it isn't already.
