Ah, because your Google map actually shows the highway route in the south, while the railway goes through the mountains farther north.
You'll be going right trough Graz then and will most likely stop at the main station.
From there you can be at the center in about 15 minutes by foot or four stops by tramway/bus.

Limited time and money. If I want to do the full tour of Europe like the route in the map I posted, I can't spend more than a few days in the UK
