BF2S Forums usa players that still play

Completely forgot about iron gator, put it at like 5. I had some beast rounds on that map when they had servers for it.

i dont really care about the round length. i just like good maps. sharqi is probably my favorite vehicle map, but i cant stand it for i/o

Word, No one plays SF anymore though. Which is my favorite group of maps. I don't dislike any SF map tbh, they're all good.

True, I started playing BF2 in February 2006 and have played the game every year since at least once on and off. Through when 2142 came out, then bad company, then back company 2. It never gets old. 5 years later and i still have fun playing the game lol.

Heh, reminds me of what I did when I finished school.
The only game to come out in the past few years that's managed to keep me away from BF2 for more then a few weeks is Killing Floor, and even that has nowhere near the amount of time played compared to BF2.

And we really need to play some SF. I think we need to:
1) Make the BF2s server SF (all maps, IO, 32p sized bar IG, no max ping limit)
2) Set a date as a 'BF2 SF night'
3) Get 6 people (minimum) in order to start a game

We ought to be able to get a big game going - people will join once they see an active SF server that isn't full of idling bots.

Haven't played vanilla in over2 years, maybe longer. What are the players like these days? New players or is it just mostly hard core veterens waiting for the next BF2..?
