Maybe.. not a fan of doctors. I forgot to mention .. the whole time my right lymph node on my neck has been extremely sore the whole time. So I'm pretty sure my body is fighting something. ... it feels like it is bruised, swollen. The internet says that a swollen lymph node takes care of itself. I'll give it until tomorrow afternoon.

Can't say that I have.

But don't put too much credence into what you read on the internet over a doctors visit.

Weakness of your muscles could be due to many problems. It could even be an allergic reaction to a bite/sting and everything is inflamed as a result. In which case you should be on antibiotics.

I was being a little facetious. I dont think the tone translated.. though some sites arent that bad.
It may be a respiratory thing. .. and like you said it may be allergies.

Hurricane, I lost a family member due to a misdiagnosis.. it's a stigma I carry. But yea, most docs are ok.

It was relatively sudden. I don't think cancer operates like that. Overnight.

might be wrong

I'm no expert but I don't think it does either (lost my father to a relatively quick and aggressive brain tumour).

It could be respiratory, muscular, viral or something else. Obviously seeing a doctor will put your mind at ease, and perhaps get a second opinion if you are concerned with misdiagnosis?

also know that going to the doctor comes right out of my pocket.. fucking American Health Care system. I have a $1500 deductible i have to pay (over a year) before the insurance company pays a single thing. Even though i pay $150 a month to them. So there is another reason for reluctance

.. and I hardly ever go to the doc

I can walk into any GP in this country without being out of pocket.

Medicare provides free visits to all Aussies. I don't even get billed for it later.

Whatever is prescribed is usually deducted in some way through Medicare also.

That's why it's so unusual to hear someone putting off a visit to the doctors.

That's only if you are bulk billed. My doctor doesn't bulk bill my visits unless it's very brief, like working out my shots for overseas travel, or getting a blood test - the nurses do that and that's a separate charge (blood test was free though), but I have to see my milfy doctor first

Medicare does provide a rebate. A normal consultation is $65, I get around $45 back.

The doctor's surgery is in the same street where I live, has a good reputation and my GP is a milf.

More doctors don't bulk bill than do, but the rebate covers the bulk of the cost.

i'm not really the norm though. most people have insurance through their employer. As a Realtor I'm technically contract labor. When I was at UPS it only cost me 10 bucks whenever I went to the doc.

You know for major operations Americans should fly to Asia to get their treatments... A lot of people are doing that now since those treatments are dirt cheap compared to the ones in the US and it's about the same quality.
