prolly means you wont be too busy or tired. come on man. i need my fix!
I stayed up all night last night, traveled all the way to long island this morning and had to carry all my shit up to the 3rd floor of my building, nearly fainted of exhaustion since it was so hot. And now I gotta write an article for my job + I'm too tired to play right now. Maybe i'll play later but i'll prolly be asleep lol.

Adelphi isn't bad. Expensive though.

Yeah but for me after the financial aid and scholarships it's on par with other private universities in terms of expense

So I'm trying to find a good career aptitude test online. Does anybody know of a particular one that's any good?

I really don't want to go to college. I know people who've skipped it and are doing fine without a diploma, and frankly, I'd rather not "waste" another 4 years of my life accumulating debt and learning a bunch of crap that may or may not help me.

I'm basically trying to figure out what I want to do with my life financially.

what do you enjoy?

just FYI most people who make lots of money without a degree are either brilliant entrepreneurs or people working in trades, and it takes a lot of experience to start making decent money in a trade

I love physical work, I love working with people (I'm a server right now, and the people love me.), I hate paperwork, I like being outdoors, I love building computers, I like to fix them too. I like construction jobs too.

I did a google search for good paying jobs that don't require a degree and one that interested me was real estate broker. It's got paperwork but not to an extent that I'd hate my job, and the contact with people something I like.

My dream job that I currently want is either Marines or Army. Army being better in that it would let me pick my MOS. After that I'll have to do something, and if they don't take me then I'll need something too.

I'm currently taking these onlines courses for network engineering (I am an intern at a networking company) and I love the cabling work but I hate working on computers.

that was kinda broad but it's just to give a basic idea

Real estate can be tough in bad markets. Your paycheck hinges on selling houses. Being outdoors and working with people... you could be a park ranger. Dunno how much it pays but I don't think it's much.

I wouldn't completely discount college. A lot of higher-paying jobs require a degree. Not even specific ones, just a degree, since to most employers it demonstrates an ability to start something, stick to it and finish it.

no no no

I mean like having the computer on and working on excel and word and crap like that, and programing and stuff.

Only thing I like about being ON a computer is surfing the web (not work), XHTML/CSS (work, exception) and gaming.

I'd hate to have a job where I work behind a computer all the time.
