Fuck Israel
If a party has a vote transfer deal set up its published so you know exactly who you're voting for and how that vote might be transferred.
Its not so hard really.

Sounds like we're not the ones that need political reform...

Why?
System works fine.

Compulsory voting and votes that get punted sounds like a great way to legitimize whatever trash politicians vote for. Can't complain since it's what you voted for amirite? It's a system designed to stifle dissent.

Its still better than having a choice of only two parties to vote for.Jay wrote:

We have as many choices as we want, including the choice to not legitimize the government by voting. I happen to be registered as a Libertarian Party member.Dilbert_X wrote:

I didn't vote at the last election.
Went up, signed off, took my ballot paper and dropped it straight in the box. Didn't even need to do that, but it felt better.

The paradox is only a conflict between reality and your feeling what reality ought to be.

You still had to take time out of your day to do that.

Spark: It's just annoying knowing "oh lulz heres a fine for not voting." If people didn't want to vote in the first place they shouldn't have to. They have a right to vote, not an obligation to.
Australia pretty much has 2 parties so I don't know what dilbert is getting his panties tied in a knot.
Should've drawn a cock and balls first.Spark wrote:

just as it doesn't seem political at all that several european countries get downgraded at least once a week (or so it seems) while having not more debt than the US.Macbeth wrote:

Well, the cold war ended a while ago, British armed forces have been extensively engaged for over a decade now, and they weren't really designed to fight more than a few weeks as thats the probable maximum length of any future major conflict.RAIMIUS wrote:
Most countries also have terribly trained forces, or not enough logistics to keep fighting for more than a couple weeks....Dilbert_X wrote:
And most countries spend less than 3 weeks income on defence, spending 3 months worth is bizarre.
Reference the UK and their "seasonal" carrier planning, Tomahawk shortage in Libya, and lack of trained Eurofighter strike pilots.
...and the UK has one of the more respected militaries in the world!
Meddling in three ME countiries simultaneously was never in the plan for the current British military.

thanks, didn't know that. yet this makes it even weirder that the US can keep the best grades while for example ireland is downgraded although they are supported by money from the EU.Jay wrote:
