This, this, this, this and this again. Long ago I've been asked "why are you always cleaning things like book covers and the Game Boy?" It's because I didn't want to lie in bed with the infested leavings of someone's unwashed ass-wiping hands all over the book or device I was enjoying.

The double tragedy is that most home toilets also occupy the same space as a shower, so everyone else gets to look forward to moisture damage when the thing is casually sat on the sink or a nearby shelf.

Indeed, the one-to-one tutorial sessions are the one thing I truly envy of Oxbridge students.. We have groups of seven (I assume you had something similar), but it isn't even close to giving the same effect.

the only excuse to be a posh person going to st. andrews is if you're a royal and want to escape the hype of being in an english uni. otherwise it's full of failed posh people that can't afford the living costs of a real rah university, so they go to scotland to eat super noodles and hit the smack.

What? If I was royal and trying to escape any sort of 'hype', I wouldn't go to the conservative, snobby posh-fest that is St. Andrews. I mean, most of the students here are your typical liberal British student (or American, ugh), but those are hardly the people who would associate themselves with a prince.. And hardly the people who get any sort of (the little) media-attention.

Unless you mean media-hype, actually, I was assuming you meant a royal trying to distance himself from his family.

Still though, going to an ancient uni like St. Andrews with the student base it has is hardly a hype-dampener..

it's pretty out the way compared to the other rah classic unis. just like the royal family send their kids way up north to be educated at a primary level, it doesn't surprise me they want to get away up there for their uni experience, too. being in scotland for 3/4 years isn't a hype-dampener, it's a life-dampener. i'd kill myself if i had to be surrounded by rah cunts and didn't even have somewhere to escape to, like london.

i work 4-10 on saturday. Its not that bad. At least you dont have to get out of bed extremely early or work a full day.

Nah, it's pretty easy to avoid the 'rah cunts'. They tend to stick to their hotel bars with their tight-wound groups of rah friends.

They'd never show up at the typical plebby gathering places for students, like (shock, horror) the pub. If they do, they get chased away by the rest of the students and locals, lol.
