out of an entire 2 (!) possible funding allocations for my department, i've been awarded a full excellence scholarship to do a master's degree at my current uni. fuck yessssss! even though i could study pretty much anywhere with my 1:1 degree, sparing the £4-8k tuition fees is a fucking no brainer, because it saves me having to work for like 2-3 years to fund myself. sooo fucking happy.

ty!!! fuck me i thought i was in for a miserable few years, having just broke up with my gf because i thought i was leaving uni to have to go and pay for my own way to do what i wanted (i.e. expensive as fuck totally unfunded postgraduate study), which would basically mean living at home and being bored as fuck to spare rent money and overheads. shit it's like everything has just fucking figured itself out in a flash, and just because i got a hard-on over a few books and worked hard for 3 weeks of the term. shittttt. even though it's only a few grand it feels like a fucking lottery win because funding (especially in the arts) is literally a black hole right now.
