Amazing how this has turned into such a big thing, there is no doubt in my mind that he muttered a racist remark. But there is no way to 100% prove it, it's just some video where you can read his lips, no mic can pick it up, so what? I, and many others I'm sure, have muttered something along those lines at some point, heat of the moment, it was an emotional match, let's move on...But the now the FA are investigating, it will take them months to examine all the evidence

The video evidence is pretty damning, that and Terry's statement coupled with Anton wanting to pursue it is quite a lot of evidence stacking up against you.

Personally I don't think he will be found guilty by the FA, but it's wrong, why would you say "oi Anton did you think I called you a black cunt?? you fucking knobhead"

If you're going to start charging people with racism off evidence like that, there would be hundreds, may be thousands of cases to go through. It's John Terry, people don't like him, it's the only reason this is even happening. It's not a nice thing to say, I'm not condoning it, but from the video I doubt he even said it loud enough for Ferdinand to here, wasn't he quite far away from Ferdinand by then ? If nobody heard it, and he didn't direct it at anybody, then like I said, just move on...It's the same as thinking racist thoughts, everybody has done it, white or black.

Really ? Care to show me the quote where he admitted it ? QPR saying they want to draw a line under it and focus on the future is your definition of "pursuing" it ? There is no admission, QPR haven't complained, you're just another victim of the media.

He had to make the statement due to the speed oh which news spreads on social media, if it wasn't for a few douchenozzles with no life, no one would have noticed this, Ferdinand nor QPR ever heard or noticed it, and thus didn't accuse him of anything, it's a bizarre story that illustrates the powerful force of social networking sites, nothing more, what John Terry mutters to himself is his own business, amazing how people get caught up in it.

But honestly the ref was fucking awful, we so much as touched one of their players free kick, yet barely gave us anything. Perfectly good goal disallowed and by all accounts a definite penalty not given in the final minutes (I couldn't see it properly from my seat) but even a Liverpool fan who drinks in our local and went the game said it was a peno.
