Are psychiatrists any good though? I'm not asking you, Uzique, by the way. I ask this because over the past few years I've gotten the impression through the news and the best source of info ever (Hollywood) that psychiatrists are generally full of shit, and will diagnose you with some bullshit disease like ODD (Obsessive disobedience disorder) when it's just poor parenting or character. They seem to diagnose you with medical problems as an excuse for your obvious character problem. Everybody is happy because companies make drugs to combat these terrible disorders.

With that being said, on a positive note, I do believe they can be very useful if used properly. For example somebody who has gone through something traumatic might need somebody to talk to or something on a professional level.
