No, just you - assuming that anyone on an H1-B visa lacks skills.

Working 'hardcore' as employee for any company these days is pretty much out of the window.  I'll work exactly according to how you pay and treat me.
People shouldn't be expected to work as hard as the owners and profit sharers for a wage.

H1-B visa holders are necessarily not senior or experienced. that’s what the visa is. people with seniority or proven industry expertise get the ‘expert’ high-value visa. that’s kind of how the system works. is it racist? obviously not.

pointing out that canning all your high-value, skilled workers, with decades of experience, leaving behind a skeleton crew of people who are willing to ‘go hardcore for elon’ (read: without their visa they will soon be deported), is a recipe for disaster … is not racist. i didn’t say anything about their lack of skills having a racial dimension? i didn’t even say they lacked for skills or that they’re not good workers — i said that the ‘sum-total’ of their knowledge and experience is not enough to cover for a formerly 5000+ person organisation.

you really need to try harder. you are pathetic sometimes, honestly. petulant little man baby.

You said sum total of the people, not their knowledge.

I'm sure most of these organisations are now grossly bloated, firing a third of the people will likely change nothing except to make them more efficient.

If it exposes indians as not having the skills to do the job then OK.

They knew the risk when they imported themselves.

they’ve lost 85% of their staff. not ‘a third’. this isn’t trimming bloat; it’s a mass walk-out. but okay. 33%, 85% - what’s the difference, resident math brain?

again, your racialised presumption that indians have ‘fake resumés’ and ‘don’t have the skills’ is your own bullshit. not mine. you really need to grow the fuck up, my guy.

you imported yourself to someone else’s country, dipshit.

And I knew the risks - until I got citizenship I could be deported relatively easily.

People don't have a right to migrate to whatever country they want, sad.

In 1,000 years what are people going to remember - Musk saving humanity or moderation changes at Twitter.

Why would it occur to you that Musk doesn't have a master plan to save humanity?

There's nothing fatuous about saving humanity.

Or we can let the history nerds have another go.

once again, dom cummings big idea was to turn the executive office into a cutting-edge operation using big data and quant geeks.

we’ve had several stories in the last few weeks of eggheads from the crème-de-la-crème of america’s ‘technocratic’ elite, MIT/stanford figures, who have behaved appallingly and just defrauded people for billions of dollars. the most unethical behaviour seen, in the words of the bankruptcy administrator, since his work with enron (another amazing ethical debacle delivered by quants).

you need to start thinking like an adult. it’s absurd.

Unfortunately Cummings didn't understand any of it.

Pretty sure Britain going down the plug-hole is a bit bigger than the latest jew-scam, even though this latest one looks to be bigger than Madoff apparently.

B'b'b'b''but I thought blockchain made this impossible?

nobody ever claimed blockchain made scams or financial crime impossible? it's been a topic of discussion in crypto forever that decentralisation and deregulation has obvious attendant risks. why do you keep making silly arguments for topics about which you evidently know zilch? are you really so bored? lmao.

i scroll through his hell site a couple times a day when i’m working. as is seemingly his wish and by design, now half of the content on said site is posts about him. if musk has a ‘master plan’ it’s surely that. a $44 billion dollar mirror for a narcissist.

I don't know why I got this in my feed but it's hilarious to me. No explanation whatsoever and the comments full of STEM people jacking themselves off as usual.

He explains up to and around the one minute mark that this list is just his unelaborated opinion and that difficulty is subjective and varies from person to person. I don't know how anyone could use this video as a gotcha.
