Retook and answered the way I thought I would've in high school. Landed almost three east and almost one north.

Thinking about it reminds me of my old Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me in regards to being "resident conservative" object of open mockery and derision for my surprise-mandatory high school civics (snort) class teacher and what students were convinced to become his hollow echoes. Good assignment/test scores, still required administrative threats to garner a passing grade. I had some strong right-leaning bents, but I don't think I was that conservative even then. Probably all it took was one contrasting opinion, and he found himself a high school senior to beat his chest in front of.

As left as I apparently am these days, it still annoys me to think back on. Would've happily substituted any class for it if I'd been allowed.

I don't think anyone will say it isn't stupid. At this point, the established questions are probably enshrined by tradition. If it was ever changed to make more sense, it'd probably pull my score back towards the center a bit. The two quizzes I took today combine to place me at Machiavellian hippie.

I have gotten into arguments on the internet and bf2s and genuinely changed my mind about a lot of things. But I have never had a productive discussion about anything with a Putin supporter. Russians are probably the one group of people on the internet I am just not interested in hearing the opinions of anymore. Anyone feel the same way?

tbh I think shahter works in Russian propaganda. He's so far up mother Russia's arse he makes Americans look normal.

I have a feeling that Russia may be host to the world's largest concentration of secret furries.

They don't all spawn out of cloning vats like they do in Red Alert. Russians have differing opinions on all sorts of things. I think it's interesting to hear the myriad views of average people scattered across the planet. Just being able to communicate internationally on a whim is still a new thing when stacked on top of human history.

It's easiest on friendship to simply avoid talking about politics, human rights, and other social issues with them if you aren't willing to unquestioningly back Putin in everything. But I still hit stumbling blocks, such as when they suggest how great Trump would be for the US and I can't bite my tongue hard enough.

Although I am agnostic myself, I've been more curious about other religions lately.  After looking at Zoroastrianism, I'm surprised it originated from the same region that Islam did.  From some brief fact skimming, it seems so much more tolerant and less imposing on free will than even the most lenient modern religions, let alone Islam.  Apparently many Northern Iraqi Kurds are converting to Zoroastrian en mass within the past couple of years because they're sick of Islam's shit now.  Same with many younger Iranians

Very interesting stuff, seems like a much nicer and more liberal religion overall.  It would be great if it made a major comeback in the Middle East after all this time.  Obviously for the sake of finally getting the fuck along with each other and everybody else in the world, it would be better if they dropped religion entirely, but statistics have shown that people who live in impoverished shitholes are significantly more likely to look toward religion for hope.  If it's so necessary, then it might as well be a religion that encourages freedom, peace and kindness as opposed to one that seems to encourage intolerance, oppression and ignorance.

Zoroastrian rulers committed just as many acts of religious persecution as Christian and Islamic. Especially during the centuries long Persian-Roman wars.
