This reminds me of an episode of Intervention I once watched. A pretty young Asian girl in her 20's was now addicted to crack. Her addiction was so bad that she and a friend would rent a hotel room in the seedy part of town and contact men on Craigslist to have sex with the Asian for money for drugs. To make her story even more heartbreaking her father sent her to a boot camp that abused her when she was a child. Her mother couldn't stop him because she abandoned the girl. because we're not all knee-jerk reactionaries? it's an isolated incident. i see very little noteworthy about it to be honest. the media sure love it. the politicians sure love using it as an occasion to stress their importance. but i don't really see the "terrorism" threat here. a guy got brutally killed by 2 agitated men after a car-crash. i don't really see the shadowy conspiracy. it seems a little too spontaneous and spasmodic to really make me want to take up some political argument or some anti-islam tirade. it's a minor event, frankly. the only reason it has blown up so much is because it's a 'hate crime', and is incredibly good for TV.Bertster7 wrote:
