I don't know what they're like over there but over here, a lot of them do it for power and nobody really has a good opinion of them anymore, they're just allowed to do whatever they want because they're part of the government. I feel disgusted whenever I'm pulled over, they always treat you like dirt and assume you're lying to them even if you're fully cooperative, it literally makes me feel sick to my stomach knowing they're fully allowed to do that. This is mostly county police and city police that do this in my area. State Troopers are the only normal cops around, ironically I think they make the least money, starting salary is 40K a year for MSP whereas for a Prince George's County cop(the only ones that have pulled me over) it's around 46K and DC Metropolitan Police make 48K. Not sure what Bowie Cops make but they're supposedly bigger dicks than PG cops
