Gentlemen, may I present our "good friend" and "biggest ally" in the middle east:

U.S. activist's death a 'regrettable accident,' Israeli court rules

JERUSALEM - A court in northern Israel ruled Tuesday that Israel and its military were not negligent in the 2003 death of a U.S. activist who was crushed by an army bulldozer.

The judge called the death a "regrettable accident," and said Rachel Corrie "did not distance herself from the area, as any thinking person would have done."

[...]
Yeah, I'm going to call bullshit on that one. With so many people around the work site, where was this asshole's spotter?

"She consciously put herself in harm's way," Judge Oded Gershon said, adding that the driver of the bulldozer could not have seen Corrie, 23.

She was wearing a bright-orange jacket and standing between the armored vehicle and a Palestinian home to prevent its being torn down in the Palestinian Gaza Strip. Fellow activists who were with Corrie have no doubt that the bulldozer driver saw her and went so far as to roll over her twice.

Bulldozing the homes of Palestinians has become an Israeli tradition.

On August 14, 2012, Mitt Romney held a campaign event in Beallsville, Ohio that featured coal miners as a back drop from the Century Mine. Yesterday, on WWVA talk radio, host David Blomquist read e-mails from coal miners who work for the Century Mine, which is owned by Murray Energy Corporation.

In the e-mails, miners said that they were forced to attend the campaign rally, without pay, and had to donate to the Romney campaign. Bloomquist said that he had received several e-mails and calls to his show about the intimidation being used against them.

Pretty much par for the course for unions.

how do you know it was a union that forced the attendance?  You seriously are just plain dumb sometimes.

here's a link where the CFO of the mining company (not a union) is mentioning how the company (not a union) made the workers attend the event.

They are miners in a closed shop state.

Whether it was their union that forced them to attend or not is irrelevant. I said 'unions do that crap all the time' which is completely true. Forced union dues fund many Democrat campaigns.

Except this time it was to fund the Romney campaign so therefore, no, unions don't do this all the time.

I find that hard to believe. The only unions the GOP seem to care about are civil unions.

The green energy policies the Obama admin has been pushing has turned the coal industry Republican.

Yeah...NO. I run power equipment. If I knew there were a bunch of protesters all over the place, there's no fucking way I'd roll that thing in any direction without guys spotting my every movement. Israel's excuses are flaccid.

When was the last time you drove an armored bulldozer in hostile/firearm laden environments?

bullshit

Just about every answer I replied to would have been different than Obama's. He's an anti-colonialist and is working hard at equalizing the playing field instead of making America the top dog on the block.

I'm against high taxes, welfarism, government regulation of the economy (although there has to be a little bit of it), gun laws, abortion, laws against alcohol and drugs to an extent I won't explain now, etc.

I'm for more freedom basically.
