Um... You're conveniently forgetting that the Bamster had a super majority. They could and did whatever they wanted. Remember the huge stimulus bill, and healthcare? I do. They both failed miserably and one hasn't even started yet. What did the bamster want to do after his stimulus failed? Spend more! Well, the US isn't on the road to recovery and the credit rating has been downgraded. 'Universal Healthcare' has all ready failed seeing as looms over the economy, businesses not wanting to hire because of it. Furthermore, look at the amount of 'waivers' Obama has granted to his cronies' companies and unions.

More than one person with a degree in economics has come out and said the stimulus is basically what pushed the US over the cliff.
