what the hell was that view they showed for like half the liftoff? the camera between the shuttle and the rocket? You couldn't see crap cause it was all washed out from the sun.
lol, I have the Today Show on (as well as Kerry's link) and of course they're talking about Gabby Giffords and Mark Kelly, and they said the Giffords incident was an "accident".

God that's so cool and so sad. I can't believe there's only one more of these bad boys... and then it's over. Funny how I wanted to be an astronaut when I was little, I'd be right pissed if I stuck with that plan and nobody told me the Space Shuttle program was ending before I'd even graduate college.

They canned the Constellation program which was supposed to be the successor. NASA's not dead, they'll still be doing satellite launches and stuff like that, just human space flight is for now unless it's done by the private sector (Space-X, Virgin Galactic).Hurricane2k9 wrote:
