no hate, but i still don't see the point of something like that ^. if i was that bored i would either donate the money to a charity or get a real tattoo.

i'd like to see you donate money to a charity
tattoos are for sailors.
Adding those to an exsisting tattoo makes for a nice touch. I might get me onelowing wrote:

@Jaekus: Very good choice for first tattoo. Not too big, something personal and even better, it is connected to a great story (your USA trip). Congratulations!
Thanks man! I'm very happy. I love playing bass, I wanted something to remind me always of the good times I had in the US and my three most inspirational bassists (Justin Chancellor, Les Claypool and Flea) are all based in CA so it fits very well
It was really fucking cool. Every day was literally an adventure and a story or three at the end of it.
The tatt only took about 20 mins. Good for a first one, already thinking about the next. I'll give this one a couple weeks to heal and then make some serious planning from there.
Were you able to make it to Yosemite?Jaekus wrote:

Yeah man, we spent a night in Lee Vining, then the next morning we hiked to the top of Clouds Rest, stayed two nights in Curry Village and then drove to San Francisco. Whilst in Yosemite we visited the usual easy spots: Yosemite Falls, Tunnel View, Tuolumne Meadows, Lake Tanaya (obviously the start of Clouds Rest) and Artist View (similar to Tunnel View except no people around).
Yosemite is awesome

And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.
We missed the sequoias, just ran out of time. I do plan to go back another year though when I'm fitter and attempt Half Dome so I'll visit what I missed out this time around as well.lowing wrote:

Lots of jobs require you to hide your tattoos, or wont even hire you if you have tats on your neck, hands, face, etc... Any visible area that cant be covered up.andros wrote:

So there's a market for those.
If the women don't find ya handsome. They should at least find ya handy.
ya that's why i would just get a normal tattoo but somewhere that can be covered with regular clothing, like the upper arm or chest.UnkleRukus wrote:

from what i can tell UV tattoos are more expensive and only visible under blacklight so unless your house is lit with UV lights and you just stare at your tattoo admiring it after work or you're a c00l k1d t3chn0 h4rdstyl3 rav3r it seems kinda lame imo.

Horses for courses. It would be cool to get a small one in a very obvious place and then go clubbing with your mates. Be a good way to meet chicks too, it's a talking point.
An obvious tattoo can hurt your chances to land a job.

Make X-meds a full member, for the sake of 15 year old anal gangbang porn watchers everywhere!
probably not so much anymore, they have become quite mainstream now. Chances are, the one hiring you has one.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

It depends on the job too. At my work there's a girl who changes the colour of her hair every week, wears gothic clothing and has a bunch of piercings in her face. The only thing that affects her getting shifts (she's a casual) is her sometimes lateness and is a little unreliable.
