This of course isn't the whole picture, and the employer does indeed have an impact, I think the social interactions that one has on the job have a much larger impact on a persons happiness than anything else. agree 100%
I agree the interactions between coworkers are a large factor, afterall work is the place you interact the most on a daily basis

Holy crap ... I agree with lowing
Serves you right, I had to agree with Jay. If you wanna cleanse yourself, I posted in the Israel Palestine thread. Go there and wash up.

No problem ... I have no worries about the fact that I agree with you from time to time on some issues

Infact I do believe we actually agree more often than it seems ... I think it's the angle of approach and that we talk past eachother that's the biggest difference ...

Management does have an impact, shitty management which doesn't keep fuckwads under control can lead to an unpleasant environment.

Also, junior managers ape senior managers. I've worked in a few places where the senior managers were dishonest, greedy and belligerent and it all trickled down.

"While both sides acknowledge it is only a matter of time until a legal challenge to the regulations is filed, Feldblum believes they will provide courts with plenty of clarity. She's also urging employers to stop focusing on defining disability, and spend more time on accommodations.
"I am hopeful that employers will now move to the next question which is, 'How do we make sure our workplace is welcoming to people with a range of health conditions?'" she told Fox News. "

Even though the criteria for disability have changed to something quite liberal, I don't see anyone trying to take advantage of it.......DO you?!!

Because according to liberals, the company is in business to provide you with a good living and take care of you, it is NOT supposed to be in business to make money.
Yes, it is much better for the government to supply everything for anyone with a disability and create dependency on the system rather than encouraging their contribution into the workforce and simultaneously improve their quality of life and thus reduce dependency. Genius!

I have no problem with accommodating the disabled. I do have a problem with redefining a disability to something so obscure, that anyone can find a symptom to qualify for disability. That was kinda the point of the article. I know you knew that, and I understand if your hatred of me keeps you from agreeing that doing so is not such a hot idea. Trouble is, I doubt I could find a liberal with enough work ethic to post it instead of me.

You should stop asuming that people hate you lowing, and using that as an argument does kinda invalidate your message ...
