Sweet Lord, this is basically a god discussion just with a word replaced. How about you don't make a claim unless you can prove it? The whole existence of a soul is rather irrelevant anyway, though.
the onus isn't on me to prove that something doesn't exist. that's backwards logic. you have to prove that it does, and if you can't, then it falls the other way.

You have to understand how members of your religion aren't content with just being content and far too often bring their religion into politics and other realms of society that it has nil business in. The backlash you experience is a product of their actions.

It doesn't matter if you associate with them, they associate with you. It's something you're either going to just have to accept and put up with or put in the work to actually change them or change people's perceptions of them. But you cannot expect people to just assume you are different from them or expect people to treat you differently than they would treat them.

All the Christians, Muslims, Jews, and other major religions are still here with the Atheists and Agnostics.
I'm guessing 3 or 4 monks of a forgotten religion, isolated in a remote backwater corner of the world got Raptured - and the rest of us just got it all wrong.
