this is another problem related to the topic at hand. do you know why hard-copy are chaper than digital? because the fucking publishers won't have it any other way. they want you to pay $60 for, say, a newly released game of which only 10% or so goes to those who actually made it - the developers - AND they want you to pay that - or more! - even for digital copies which have none of the manufacturing and logistics costs associated with them. why? - because they also run or have contracts with retailers who push all the paper and plastic crap which you do not need today at all - and if digital copies were cheaper, who the hell would ever buy bloody boxes again? it's a circle jerk in which you - the consumer - and those who actually make stuff - the devs - are getting screwed.
