cover in the mod is terrible
Auto-sandbags for the MG teams are nice. Kind of disappointed that you can only produce Bradleys and Strykers. Takes forever to call in tanks, and they're not really that good.

That's an old complaint with CoH. Some AT rounds do waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more damage to infantry than others (FUCK YOU, HETZERS).

They seem more powerful in MC than in vanilla. I haven't tested the Humvee MG without the remote system, but it did a great job of nipping at a few of the pesky squads. Against any other vehicle though, meh. I don't remember...did it have a TOW upgrade?RTHKI wrote:

For one, US snipers being slightly cheaper doesn't make up for the fact that they have to be in cover to "cloak" while the Chinese ones do not, and that by the time they come into play, Humvees are very killable. Forced cover makes a fiddly unit like that even moreso when you have far more things to micromanage than a couple of them. Also, US squads being as expensive to fill as they are, giving the Chinese the more powerful sniper doesn't make much sense.War Man wrote:

Even the easy comp can give you a hard time until you get vehicles (and hopefully they don't have AT).
Humvee doesn't use the .50 cal in the mod. It's a m240B 7.62mm machine gun, much more common on Humvees than the .50 cal.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

I don't think it makes a difference what kind of gun it uses. It's inaccurate as shit, but does tons of damage when it hits and still melts to early-game AT.
If they wanted to make the thing more useful, they could give it a TOW upgrade with the tank doctrine or Avenger (laser, anyone?) with air doc.

Just finished Curse of Monkey Island today.
Played through MI1 in ScummVM last year and MI2:SE recently and just installed MI4.
Have never come around to finishing the latter, as the 3D controls totally confused me 12 years ago.
I want to finish it though, so I can finally get to play the new game by Telltale.
