So yeah...was reshelving a bunch of films the other day.

E:

* Movies by format and partial category (docu-by-subject, TV, >1-in-1 sets, BR and finally DVD's + VHS's)
* Books by author and basic category (fiction & non-fiction)
* Music by artist; cassettes and records mostly kept in storage
* Games by system (from oldest to newest) in alphabetical order

Not Played

- Alphabetical by Artist
   - Alphabetical by Album Name (should do year but I'm too lazy to redo)

For Movies
- Alphabetical by Title (seen most so dont really need to split up, plus scattered in different drives)

Obviously on the computer...

For shelving my books I group authors together and have a would read again bookshelf and a never read again bookshelf.

Music is sorted alphabetically by artist (then albums in sub-folders)
Movies are sorted alphabetically by title

edit- Books are sorted alphabetically by Author, then year it was written.
