Searched and found nothing:

What would cause a PC to just turn off? And by 'turn off' I mean have all programs close, one by one and then shut down, without my saying so. Basically, two times while playing Bad Company 2, my PC has just started to close everything open and then shut down my PC. I assume it's not CPU temp going too high, because that causes an alarm on my PC and also insta-shuts off.

Is this a common BC2 bug? Any help?

Does it shut-off when you play other games, or only BC2? List your PC specs and OS.

I found out the problem. It was Core Temp, shutting off my PC because of high temps. I managed to catch a little pop-up before it last did it.

Seems the setting was lower than I last checked, though this game is running my PC pretty hot.

Mine does that at times too ... but no temps issue ...
