So much for your belief in small government.
What?  How does me wanting to lock up peods trash my liking of small government?  Ever heard of private prisons?  They're all the rage nowadays...
Vigilante justice fits right in with small government.

Lol
It is funny...  I mean where did that come from?  BTW

I stood in line for four hours. They better give me a Wal-Mart gift card, or something.  - Rodney Booker, Job Fair attendee.

The first link is to a State Corrections' officer UNION site.  Can't imagine what problems they'd have with a privatized prison.

Sencond and third links show a problem that must be addressed and individuals guilty should be removed and incarcerated also.  I didn't say that it was a total 'silver bullet'.  Legislature can set up a fail safe...  Just a retort to JG shrink government quip.

I guess if arsed I could find dozens upon dozens of corruption scandals in state run jail/prisons to post -hell even the feds/military isn't above it.

I'm just making a point that there is going to be massive corruption when crossing over to a Privatised Prison system. Also who's going to remove and incarcerate the people making money? Cause the people who would do that are probably also making money.

Our legal system is just massively corrupt and in so unamerican it's not even funny. From the cops to the judges and lawmakers.

The best solution would seem to involve making prisons publicly run but to outlaw prison guard unions.

Public employees really shouldn't be allowed to unionize anyway, because taxpayers are funding them.

And it's really funny how they're the only Unions that are actually working now a days.
