No they don't.  Payroll taxes are the majority of taxation on low income earners.  Yes, they can file later for refunds, but the upfront money is what matters for having operating income for governmental functions.

Illegals don't pay payroll taxes, for obvious reasons.
How would you know, are you an illegal alien?
Because I know that if you don't work on the books, you're not paying payroll taxes, you fucking idiot.

Unless they are working under the table (like millions of legal Americans do) their employer withholds payroll tax for them.

Most of them work on the books with a fake social security number.

Most of our food production and general goods production is done by illegals, harvesting crops is done by illegals, shit factory jobs, janitorial jobs, stuff like that. Most of it is done by illegals. If there was no one around to hire them, who would do those jobs.
Opening up the visa system could work by letting the same people in.  Allowing them to operate illegally is completely unacceptable.

I really do think that, because if they for one second stop working in the fields of the Mid-West, South-West, West Coast, anywhere. then our food production will be almost nil.

Too many rules and regulations are the reason why they're coming in illegally. If there weren't so many thick headed individuals on the borders, we might be a little more stable. If we didn't have so many conglomerates working these people to the bone for practically nothing then we would be more stable.

HOWEVER, I do realize that this country would be nothing if it wasn't for the big conglomerates we have operating out of our country.

You can't justify breaking one law because other laws are being broken.  That's like saying, "well, because rape happens no matter what, we shouldn't bother with enforcing rape laws."

Limits on the number of visas and bureaucracy surely cause much of the problem, but again, we should fix that rather than continue to allow people to break these laws.

You don't fix the system by ignoring law enforcement.  Changing laws has to happen.

What is the fucking difference? They're here. They're working. They're paying taxes. They're sending their kids to school. What the fuck makes it illegal? Shouldn't we instead be looking into the ridiculous quota systems? Open the gates pre-Ellis Island style.

I am actually glad there is an attempt to document them. Doesn't that make sense? Isn't that the first step in considering (any) path forward? It sounds like we are entering a debate of birthrights.

Correct me If I am wrong here, but if Arizona gets more votes in the house because of Illegals, and they vote for more restrictions, wont that mean that within a few years their house votes will shrink again? Surely there can't be too many demos in Arizona.

Whats criminal about these guys just wanting to make a few pesos for their family. If they had ties to drug runners, or if they were willing mules. then I would have a problem.

Well, if you must know, Howard Coble would probably agree with my stance on this.
