well you could have checked the OP

The best time to view is around 1AM locally, when the radiant at its highest point.

because the meteors' radiant – where they appear to originate – is nearly circumpolar, so they will stay in view above the horizon all night.
ahhh ok.. thanks

I read 1AM locally. What didn't seem logical to me is that there would be a constant shower so long that everybody could see it 1AM locally. ugeddit?

So I checked out some sites and others said 5AM CST...sooo what the fk now?

ok, CST (central standard) is -6 GMT. you*re pacific time (-8 GMT) so your website is saying 3am.

if mommy lets you stay up that late, and weather permitting, have fun!

1am puts Gemini directly overhead in northern hemisphere.
http://www.stellarium.org/ for great success.

What other sites did you check? It's darkest before dawn so that may have been why they suggested that .. but by that time the radiant would have shifted west. 1-3am was the best time to watch.

NASA had a solution for those who had clouds.

Burnzy and kimm, make sure you have your cameras charged for the lunar eclipse. I'll make a post on it. But for now this should tell you everything you need to know.

Drove me and the girlfriend right up to a really high point at Dartmoor last night to watch them.

It fucking rained and wasn't clear in the slightest

My friend told me today that he saw a load back where we live.

Different websites had different hours, I'm not going to stay up all night facing North East hoping I'll catch a few stars.

Therefore, I missed it, better luck next year.

I took^ a few years ago. Not very sharp. I had clouds moving in and out.

It's amazing I saw it all since it looked like this ..

Very hard to catch a meteor unless you do a really long exposure.
